Body language is very important, and tells us so much about ourselves. Sometimes, even too much. That could be said about the people in some of the pictures featured in http://thehoverhand.com. The idea is: spot the hand! Is it touching- responding to the hug or is it hiding somewhere? Some of them show that they are too scared to touch each other when they hug, especially, if the "other one" is a rather attractive gal, or even a playmate! Some other times, it's about not wanting to touch "Someone" (see above) and is fair enough.
Well, some people are actually scared of physical touch...which is most unfortunate. Here in Japan, for example, "touching each other" is cool among peers and in general people of the same sex; but the mix, it's not really an option! So maybe, making fun of them, seems to be rather silly. But, in other cases, it can be actually funny, for example, if it's about young and horny school boys in high school! They will get over it, but, for the, moment, it's still too difficult to get there...
I'm still not sure about the whole "Virgin Detector Thing". But, I would recommend to people, just in case, if you don't want to look like a tool, land that hand! :)
